The rules are simple for this one. Any song (or band) with ‘Life,’ ‘Live,’ or ‘Living’ in the title was fair game, which means I had a lot of options (my first list had over 200 songs to choose from). In fact, I would like to apologize to the following artists for just missing the cut: David Lee Roth, Soul II Soul, Chaka Khan (that one hurt more than you know), Coldplay, Oleta Adams, The Suburbs, Hard-Fi, and Madonna (that one also hurt more than you know). Oh, what could have been.
The next show is one I’ve been teasing for literally years. I’m finally going to do it! However, when I’m going to do it is up in the air. First born graduating high school, Summerfest, family vacation, while both kids are asking to see baseball games in Milwaukee and Chicago (you have no idea how happy this makes me)…this has the potential to be one of the busiest, and greatest, summers of my life. For that to happen now, NOW? Didn’t see that coming.
